It’s been a busy summer for Empire Services! We worked on a variety of projects, which included getting properties ready for renovation, controlling stormwater runoff, and improving surfaces. Let’s take a look at some of our summer projects!
Glenside Elementary School – We have the expertise to complete campus site renovations on time and on budget. We demolished existing sidewalks and regraded the area at Glenside Elementary School in Reading, PA. We also repaved a section of the parking lot, providing a smooth surface that transitioned seamlessly into the existing asphalt.
Municipal Building Concrete Work – When it comes to concrete removal, you want to go with a contractor that can remove concrete slabs without compromising the surrounding structure. At a municipal building in Plymouth Meeting, PA, our team cut the existing elevated concrete floor into sections for removal without damaging the existing concrete slab below or the surrounding structure.
Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center – Progress is being made on our external demolition of the facade of a Bala Cynwyd shopping center in Montgomery County! We are in phase two, and recently demolished the canopy in this section of the shopping center.
Exeter Conversion Basin
– It’s always great to see the finished project! We converted a dry detention basin associated with a residential community into a wet infiltration basin in Exeter, PA. We have worked on a variety of civil projects, including reconstructing reed beds, restoring flood plains, and installing numerous below grade utilities.
At Empire Services, we are thankful for the opportunity to work on these projects, which enabled us to help our customers to achieve their goals. We are also thankful for our team and everyone who works behind the scenes to keep Empire Services operating safely and efficiently. We look forward to the projects we will be working on in the fall!
